Another Zomato food delivery boy killed in road mishap in Nagpur

In a tragic incident, another Zomato food delivery boy was killed in a road accident on Saturday night near YCCE, Nagpur. In the first week on August 2018, a Zomato delivery boy, Nilesh Wasnik, was knocked dead by a speeding car at WHC Road, Nagpur.

As per the police, the accident took place when the deceased Arjun Ramkrishna Pawar (21), a resident of Jaitala, was returning on his Bajaj Platina bike (MH-31/CE/2974) after delivering a food parcel near YCCE.

When Pawar reached near St. Xavier’s School, he has hit by a speeding truck (MH40/BJ/7818). On being hit, Pawar came under the rear wheels of the truck. He was immediately rushed to Government Hospital by people present at the spot. The young boy was declared brought dead by the hospital.

The police has arrested the truck driver Mahesh Shivlal Duware (37), a resident of Amar Nagar, MIDC, and has booked him under sections 279 and 304 (a) of the Indian Penal Code.
